Extraordinary athletes have coaches that help them perform exceptionally and maintain their performance over time. Yet few leaders seek that same kind of coaching. Even if they would be open to receiving coaching it is not something that is offered readily. The higher up in an organizations structure a leader is, the less likely it is for them to obtain feedback on their performance. What abilities and skills do you possess that have served you well to date? What are the circumstances you are facing today? What are you doing well? Where do you need improvement? Do you know where you need to be truly extraordinary? Do you know how to be extraordinary in that area?
