(Manager To Associate)

An Assessment/Development Discussion Guide Tool

We all want to fell valued! However, do we know what that really means in our day to day activities? It is critical that as a MANAGER/BOSS we are valued. Yet are you valued by your team? Need to explore what it takes for you to feel valued? Here is a tool that can be either self administered between a supervisor and direct report or facilitated. It provides areas for self-examination and discussion that help to uncover what feeling valued really looks like for you (from the Associates perspective) along with other characteristics that lead to Amazing Results. If you truly want a breakthrough in the relationship this tool can unleash miraculous breakthroughs.

Participants will:
- Self assess how they view they are treated by their subordinate in 10   areas.
- Know how those who support them view how they are treated.
- Learn what feeling valued really means for each associate and how it   can be achieved.

Format: Either self directed or facilitated assessment plus a dialogue using a 10 question survey.

Recommended Participants: Teams needing/wanting to deepen their understanding of each other and the expectations of the work.
Requirements for Success: An environment where associates are comfortable or are able to be honest with their supervisor.

Requirements for Success: An environment where associates really do feel valued by their supervisor and are open to receive feedback that will take the relationship to a higher level of collaboration and partnership.

NOTE: Associate Valuing Associate forms and processes can be easily adapted to be used with suppliers and customers, spouses, family and friends. This is an incredibly powerful tool for achieving breakthroughs in any relationship.
